About Us

Echuca Junior Pirates compete in tournaments throughout country Victoria each summer with team ranging from under 12 boys & girls up to under 18 boys & girls. Division 1 teams compete at Junior Country Championships to conclude the representative season.

Coaches Selection for the upcoming season occur in May of each year.   Advertising for positions are done via website, email, facebook and local paper. Coaches of A teams will be announced prior to tryout being held. B Coaches will be announce after tryout occur.

Tryouts for Junior Pirate Teams are held during June of each year, this may include weekends, depending on the availability of the stadium.

Athletes selected for the Pirate teams will be announced via EBA website.

• To provide all players with the opportunity to develop their skills in a safe, friendly, productive and enjoyable learning environment.

• To develop a solid foundation of individual skills for the future development of basketball in the region.

• To provide all players with a high standard of Coaching and instruction.

• To provide all Coaches with guidance and opportunities to improve their skills.
